Avient and ALPLA promote sustainability and color trends in plastics

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the circular economy in the plastics industry, the recently met with the ALPLA design group at an educational and participatory session organized by the Circular Life Association. This experience was designed to delve deeper into the role that color, design, and sustainable materials in consumer perception and brand identity within the plastic packaging.

Through interactive games and collaborative activities, participants explored useful terminology to describe color more effectively in the design of plastic packaging. These dynamic exercises not only fostered teamwork, but also highlighted how color influences brand positioning and consumer purchasing decisions.

In addition to its focus on color, the Avient team presented a portfolio of sustainable solutions in plastics materials, designed to support the circular economy and reduce environmental impact. These included bio-based polymers, technologies with recycled content, and innovative additives that improve the recyclability and durability of products.
